Studio Yangnar I
Studio Yangnar I is a semi-outdoor design and construction planning studio built largely from natural and reclaimed materials. The interior raised wooden flooring is elevated above a surrounding untreated bamboo deck to protect against rain. Its architectural details adapt traditional Karen vernacular practices, combining a primary bamboo structure with a hardwood frame secured through wood wedges and simple bamboo strip ties.
