Tita House
Baan Tita reflects an architectural design shaped by direct living experience, blending local wisdom and craftsmanship to promote sustainable living within its natural context. The home features a three-tier split-level layout—starting from a clay-brick entrance hall, stepping up via wooden stairs to a central deck and traditional Toen (raised terrace) linked to the kitchen, and topping out at two bedrooms connected to a workspace and a south-facing bathroom. Its varied floor elevations create practical under-croft (tai-tun) spaces beneath, ranging from low storage areas for farm produce to high-ceiling spaces used for woodworking and daytime relaxation.
